headshot Hello! My name is Jen Washburn. I am a hairstylist, make-up artist and personal stylist. I am a NYS Licensed Cosmetologist and a graduate of New York’s Hair Design Institute. My home studio is in Astoria, NY, but I can also travel anywhere within the NYC Metro area. *Travel rates apply.

Not everyone has celebrity money or can afford regular trips to the salon, so I take pride in making glamour affordable and attainable - be it a special day or everyday, and I aim to keep it that way!

Hair&Make-up Old Hollywood glamour, retro and romantic hairstyles hold a special place in my heart, but I'm very versatile and can help you achieve any look you’d like to try. From cut to color and style!

Natural Beauty is my strength when it comes to make-up. I enjoy working with what nature has already given you and enhancing your outer beauty to match your inner beauty.

However, I am not opposed to some drama or the smokey eye every now and then. I have worked with many brides and frequently join forces with some of NYC’s best photographers who specialize in actor headshots, model comp cards, & engagement/wedding photo shoots.

work I am also available for Personal Styling! What's that mean? It means that I am the cast of What Not to Wear rolled up into one. For affordable rates I will come to your home and help you bring your wardrobe, make-up and hair together in perfect harmony. We will go through your closet and rediscover what still works and what needs to be weeded out. We will take pictures and create new outfits. I will consult you about your beauty routine and hair style and even give you a total make-over. There is no limit to what we can do!
